support

I am always in need of friends to pray for my life and work in Uganda. I very clearly couldn’t be here without that support. My prayer requests come attached to my update letters and emails, so please let me know if you would like to be added to that distribution list. (Check out Year1 update letters from August, October, December, February, and April. Here is aYear2 update letters from September.)

As an unpaid fellow with IJM, I gratefully rely on friends and family for financial support. For the easiest way to give a financial gift, follow this link to IJM’s webpage, select my name (Scott Adams) from the drop-down list, and follow instructions for one-time or monthly giving. If you would like to give via check, please email me at onewhiteguyblog [at] gmail.com for my mailing address in the US.

I am abundantly grateful for any and all support you are willing to give. Experiencing the generosity of others has been a welcome surprise in this journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything!

“When our grandchildren ask us where we were when the voiceless and the vulnerable in our era needed leaders of compassion and purpose, I hope we can say that we showed up, and that we showed up on time.” Gary Haugen, IJM President and CEO

“Always be full of joy in the Lord… Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.” Philippians 4:4-7
